Thirsty, shades of blue, terrycloth hand-towels, embroidered with a 60's style "Peace 'n Flowers" design, as well as the traditional Peace sign which has been "flipped". Sunfire of www.zibbet.com/breathofthedragon recently inspired me with her comments on "Turn Peace Around". I found it an amazing-ly simple concept with an amazing-ly powerful message and decided to do what little I could to help spread the idea. Simply flip the original peace sign around, and suddenly the little "stick-man" is raising his arms to the Heavens/Skies/Universe in a joyous, jubilant manner, having abandoned his previous stance of despair with his arms/hands down and out. Simple, isn't it? The towels are soft and absorbent, one is navy and the other has a "denim" cast to it. Not a matched pair, but both are complimentary blues and good to go as a set, if you like. I expect to use other colors in the future, but I felt this dark blue was an especially effective canvas for the bright lime green and the mauve-y pink Peace signs, and the word "peace" is like the old-days, colorful with flower-power running thru it! Found the best place for placing the words "Turn Peace Around" to be on the ribbon-like area of the towel for your subtle statement. Be sure to drop in at www.zibbet.com/breathofthedragon to see how Connie (that's Sunfire!) has used this concept.
